My Story

I am the founder and president of Women Minded Society. I am a wife to my amazing husband and mother to two adult children and three “bonus”daughters. I have a host of grand loves (babies). Since I have no biological sisters, God sent me some. I am a published author and a small business owner. My mission in life is to help those in need, especially women. I aim to help them emotionally, physically, and spiritually.​

For years I had desperately searched to find a place where I could grow and connect with like-minded women. A place that would support my goals, visions and aspirations--a sisterhood. I needed a place where I could make a difference in the lives I encountered. A place I could be free to share what scared me--share my worries, my insecurities and my failures without judgment. I needed a place where I could share my dreams, no matter how far fetched they seemed. I needed a safe place.

Throughout my quest I discovered there were others much like myself. I had a person, a good girlfriend, actually my best friend, and still is the person I could run ideas by. Well, she believed in that dream and encouraged me to start the thing in which I was seeking. With her help and dedication, Women Minded was formed.

Ten years later, the epiphany of my greatest need was revealed to me--giving to others in need. The thing I yearned for most has been my reward in giving.

This community of mature, selfless women have been there for me through my highest highs and the lowest lows of life. It’s a great thing to have a phenomenal group of sisters that will push, pull and tug you to your destination. This is what Women Minded does for each of its members.

Over the years, Women Minded Corporation has served our communities and stood in the gaps for women and others in the community with prayer, support and service. We all have unique roads to travel as women, but we're all here to cheer each other on with love and fun.
